10th date and our first Christmas together!

MERRY CHRISTMAS
EVERYBODY!

And this is no doubt one of my merriest Christmases in eighteen years!
because me and Kim got to spend the whole day together at our good ol' Sunway Carn mall!
PS: If anyone is near penang at the moment I highly recommend you visit there! Great decorations and you might get to catch a full day of performances such as caroling, magic and solos live on stage! As well as some "snow" :) Overall, Sunway makes for the perfect couple hang out spot for those of you who are in the mood to share some Christmas warmth with your loved one!

What Christmas would be complete without a Christmas carol? Got Hokien song too wei!!!

Nope, thats not dandruff on our heads...those white little fluffs are bubbly snow~~

To brighten things up a notch, we watched Alvin and the Chipmunks (and chippettes)
A surprisingly kiddy show that manage to make me go awwww and googoo over it lol! Theodore is just so cute! XD

Oh yeah and she gave me this really really awesome and cute and cuddly hand made pillow which she made herself as a christmas present!!! OMGosh I'm so in love with it right now! It looked awfully difficult to make lol... I know my present can never match the one she gave me :( but I hope you do like it :D
Ps: Kim you HAVE TO update those pics for me! plz plz plz!!! I want people to see! :D

Oh you did it! Thx!
Erm...Oh yeah guess what Christmas turkey dinner we had? Rasamas percik half chicken lol...Which wasn't so bad actually...affordable and better than chicken rice shop in my opinion :)

Anyway I'm really looking forward to our next date and Christmas together...

I miss you so muuuuuuchhhieeee :(:(:(

photographing is under charged by kim =D
hope you like it dear <3

Avatar vs. Princess XD

And the winner is...

AVATAR!!!

No offense to Princess fans out there.. but just incase, I'l give some credit to Princess by saying its not a bad family show :)
Well I won't call it a bad show for other movie goers if your looking a a typical happy ending Disney cartoon ( except for one firefly). But to me it was too much song and dance and merry making, plot dragging scenes. Maybe that's what all children's movies are suppose to look like nowadays, but I guess I've grown out of it :(
It may be a fascinating fact for some of you that I HAVE actually reached puberty?

Anyway, defamation isn't my forte, so lets just move on to Avatar. Here are some posters and pictures which i think portray parts of the plot best.

Jake Sully "driving" his Avatar.
He embodies an alien native from the planet Pandora in hopes of learning from the native alien race - the Na'Vi, while carrying out his actual mission of evacuating them from an impending doom brought forth by an even deadlier alien race from Earth - the Humans.

He befriends a Na'Vi-Neytiri, who teaches him their way of life on this strange planet where one and everything is connected in an intricate "network" of life energy.

They fall in love.

Conflict - Humans destroy the Na'Vi village in search of the precious metal- "unobtanium". Jake Sully is now faced with the dilemma of choosing sides.
Problem - He has 2 bodies but only can only control one at a time.
He struggles to find where his heart truly lies.

With the Na'Vi! XD

Ikrans fighting the human invaders.

Neytiri charging into battle.

Storm the front!!!

Final battle between Neytiri, Jake, and the evil human commander.

Okay thats it for spoilers from me! XD
If you are a fan of alien+sci-fi+fantasy+romance+tree huggers,
by all means,
WATCH THE DAMN MOVIE!
--------------------------------------------------------
Haha...
So anyway, both movies were made special since this was actually our 9th date...
Except for the complete LACK of privacy XD

Sadly, time was also an issue... as well as my nagging hunger...
We parted pretty quickly, and frustratingly too...
but anyway not without grabbing a chance to snap a few pics in a camwhore box! XP
I guess this is where I leave my blog for Kim to do her thing :)

Come on babeh!!! XD

Nutavut Ratanakarn - an international guitarist in Thailand, takes the stage by storm.

What you're looking at is a Rm 30K guitar.
The guy wasn't using any microphones or amplifiers and the whole hall could hear him.
:)
Will upload his videos later.

Another sneak peak at the advanced group master class the next day.
Campers solo performance! Feat. Gideon Lim! Me!!! woots!
Okay...overall, not a bad performance, but neither what I would call a good one.
Mistakes were rampant XD
Jor...my sis dunno how to change angle kah? o.0

Erm...tea time? Must be a random pic.
Adam Khan!!!

Waiting for ensemble performance? Yet another random pic lol...

Well that's it for now. I'll be back with a second picture & video post when the official site has released them. For now my blog will have to make to with these. Ciao!

This is my first music camp and I'm so psyched!!! Maybe because I'm getting another rare opportunity to perform solo on stage?(3 infact) And yes! Catch up with some of my old ensemble buddays! Oh and my sis is coming along with me too... guitar enthusiasm runs in the family XD

Putera Concert!!!

Hooray!!! I'll be attending the long awaited Putera Concert tomorrow night at the Malaysian Tourism Centre-walking distance from KLCC and a familiar haunt for any of the nation's classical guitar enthusiasts!

Heard from my master that the Princess of Negeri Sembilan will be attending it too! Which means us-the audience probably has to dress up formal for it? Anyway me and my sis won't be taking chances to stick out like a sore thumb amongst the VIPs...looks like I'll have to dress up formal for tomorrow's Contract class lol... not expecting any kind comments XD

Okay...

On another note, (yet another musical one)

The photos for the Guitar Alive 2009 concert have finally been posted on the official site!

In stark contrast to my previous ensembles, this year's guitar ensemble family extended itself to a whopping 15 members!! with an age bracket that ranged from the youngest-9 year old cute dota whiz kid, to a respected 20 year old college student! No debate this time over the few old style ensemble names...a unanimous decision was made to name ourselves- Dandelion. With this year's program list of ours consisting of 4 easy-to-play nursery pieces. Overall good team playing by all of us, especially the younger ones, but yes once again there is always margin for improvement in terms of coordination. Communication is the key. After all, we are a large family :)

Enough talk! Pictures pluck a thousand notes!

Us! Rehearsing on stage infront of the other performers of the evening...
Caught me, but bad angle XD

Dandelion! Spot me? :)

Curtain calls~ take a bow!

I love this angle XDD!!!

Well no roses and no encores this time round :(
Nonetheless another eye opening (lucky not ear splitting) hands-on experience with classical guitar stage arts! So ends another fruitful year of practicing and thus beginning another cycle of sowing the seeds of melody into the hearts and minds of the crowd with our beloved instrument!

Quote of the day:
Life is full of ups and downs.
But without them, would you want to live?

I guess the same applies for love...
:)

Tudos~

when Sorry isn't enough.

I'm not a perfect person
There's many things I wish I didn't do
But I continue learning
I never meant to do those things to you
And so I have to say before I go
That I just want you to know

I've found a reason for me
To change who I used to be
A reason to start over new
and the reason is you

I'm sorry that I hurt you
It's something I must live with every day
And all the pain I put you through
I wish that I could take it all away
And be the one who catches all your tears
That's why I need you to hear

I've found a reason for me
To change who I used to be
A reason to start over new
and the reason is you

Maybe you won't see this part...
but I have to tell you
that you are always in my heart
I swear its true.

I never meant to hurt you
to make your heart bleed for my wounds
I cannot forgive myself for my mistakes
the promise that I broke blindly
and the heart that broke with it

please give me a chance to change who I used to be and start over new...
or at least say...I'm sorry.

Happy 6 months anniversary!

The cake
xD

I don't know whether to cry at this because its ONLY been half a year...
or shout out loud "OMG CAN YOU BELIEVE ITS BEEN HALF A YEAR ALREADY!"

The last time I felt this way was at our 100th day milestone.. though perhaps not as exaggerated..

So we spent our One Hundredth and Eighty Second day at our familiar haunt again- Sunway Carnival Mall.

First thing first! Movie time! Arrived there just in time to catch Ninja Assasin!
Another movie spamming copious amounts of blood and gore and flying body parts while featuring wet suit clad Korean movie stars who seem impervious to MP5 bullets. I have to say I actually liked the movie much more before I watched it, simply because of the kick-ass trailer and the prospect of watching Rain play his role as Prince of Persia Korean style~

But okay... maybe I admit I was just uninterested in the movie because me and Kim were stealing the limelight in the cinema? You expect nothing less from 2 love birds in a couple seat in a veddy veddy cosy cinema :)

Thats right~ despite being the second day of its release, the cinema was almost empty. I think either New Moon or Mulan must have stolen a good deal of movie goers for being released on the same day as well lol? Blah...anyway couples can't complain about privacy can they? XD

Here are some pics of the movie:

Raizo the rouge Ninja Assasin! played by Rain~

That's his famous chain+blade weapon thingy. Niched for decapitating and slicing open your belly.

Familiar? Its the Prince of Persia! LOL!

See? XD

RAWR~~~~

Okay so back to the date! And after the movie~
Went to Amp Square again! yay!
I wasn't completely unprepared this time...Kim made sure I learned how to sing a few couple chinese songs (or rather scream them) beforehand. I loved every second of the 3 hours we spent in our own lil K box.
Yes every second! <3

Picked up how to sing on my favorite chinese songs there actually. One which I didn't know what the name was but craved so badly. Typical banana I guess?
Actually the name was 梁山伯与茱丽叶...haha.

lol wait...my font just changed after pasting the chinese words above wth...? oh well I'll just finish up this post like this then :D

Also I did manage to catch up with one of my old time favorites too...
Its called The Prayer , yet another beautiful Disney song which outlives the cartoon itself.. which in this case was Quest For Camelot. Long enough to be my current song craze XD!!

Here it is...Sung by Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli.
(Italian to English Translation courtesy of Gideon)

I pray you'll be our eyes
And watch us where we go
And help us to be wise
In times when we don't know

Let this be our prayer
As we go our way
Lead us to a place
Guide us with your grace
To a place where we'll be safe

La luce che to dai
I pray we'll find your light
Nel cuore restero
And hold it in our hearts
A ricordarchi che
When stars go out each night
L'eterna stella sei

Nella mia preghiera
Let this be our prayer
Quanta fede ce
When shadows fill our day
Lead us to a place
Guide us with your grace

Give us faith so we'll be safe.

Sognamo un mondo senza piu violenza (we dream a world without violence)
Un mondo di giustizia e di speranza (a world of justice and hope)
Ognuno dia la mano al suo vicino (everyone give a hand to his neighbour)
Simbolo di pace e di fraternita (symbol of peace and brotherhood)

La forza che ci dai (the force that gives us)
We ask that life be kind
E'il desiderio che (it is the desire)
And watch us from above
Ognuno trovi amore (that everyone finds love)
We hope each soul will find
Intorno e dentro a se (around and within a soul)
Another soul to love

Let this be our prayer
Let this be our prayer
Just like every child
Just like every child

Needs to find a place,
Guide us with your grace
Give us faith so we'll be safe

E la fede che (and the faith)
Hai acceso in noi (you gave us)
Sento che ci salvera.
(I feel that will save us)

-----------------------------------------------------
Before leaving the K, we cut our so called half year anniversary cake.
Took some pictures...
Made a wish...shhhhhhhhhh =X
Blew the candle...
And with that, we concluded our time at Amp Square...

As the day drew to a close, we spent out remaining time eating some hot rods at KFC...
and shared a few joyous and tearful moments in Living Cabin gift store before finally saying goodbye...again...

sigh...

Does this date conclude yet another magical holiday season I have here up north? I hope not...perhaps I would see her again during Christmas if I'm lucky.

Anywayz...its an extremely hot day and I feel the need to jump into the shower!

I shall now hand over this post to Kim for picture updates :)
ciao now!

Wuuvvvvv eeuuuuu <3
