3 trains +1 taxi=National Library

Lol.. before you start reading this post, I would like everyone to just take a second to ponder about the stuff you do on Saturdays, or rahter, normal people would do on Saturdays...

Hmmm... at first glance, the definition of Saturday life would mean... going to malls.. Midvalley/Sunway/JJ/the other JJ, movies, clubbing, online, pia dota/cs/l4d/callofduty,blogging, retard-ing(for some people) and occasionally, read a book, right?

Alright, today... I've just made a breakthrough.. BIIiiiggg one...
*
*
*
LO AND BEHOLD!!!!!
YOU CAN ACTUALLY HANG OUT IN THE NATIONAL LIBRARY ON SATURDAYS WITH FRIENDS!!!

Nope, I'm not kidding.

Wanna know how? The following advice is purely from first hand experience:

#1. Get up from the nerdy side of your bed. Determine that you ARE a nerd for the rest of the day. (make sure you plan the night before with your Library Travel Agent-Mei Yen)
#2. Get to Teluk Gadung KTM station, wait for your tour guide to appear-ME/Mei Yen/Sabin.
#3. Buy a ticket to KL Sentral, and hop on the train. Sit.
#4. Upon reaching KL Sentral, go Rapid KL station and buy a ticket to Masjid Jamek (resist temptation to go MCD/KFC/Starbucks/Brickfields)
#5. From Masjid Jamek, walk across street, and go to Star LTR to get a ticket to Titiwangsa station.
#6. Get down and find a cab ASAP. (or if you want to walk, head northeast)
#7. Tell the fella to drive you to the National Library. (this should cost NO MORE than RM1)
#8. You should arrive in 5 minutes or less.( any later, call the police)
#9. Now... UNLEASH you inner GEEK unto those books!!!
#10. Oh if your carrying a bag.... you gotta leave it with the guards outside.

Sabin, Mei Yen and me on Star LRT. Pick your Library Tour Guide! XD
Well! Are we all here? Good!

(lol...my relfection is so retarded...)

So, Mei Yen, Sabin and I made it to the National Library this way! We were pretty unsure whether we might get lost or not, but in the end, luck turned out our way(in the form of a cab) and we reached our destination safely :) still kinda hard to take it in though.. lemme emphasise again.... omg! we made it to the National Library LOL...

The first thing you'll notice when you step into the "lobby" is that the library is tall, not as big as I would like to imagine, but, Tall...

From the top floor looking down...
Good view, but a waste of space. ><''
From the lobby, we could see like 5 flights of stairs going up which we decided we would explore later. Due to some mesterious forces of attraction..we were drawn into a door which turned out to be the computer+reading room. Okay.. I dont usually praise things... but mieh.. the setting wasn't too bad I guess. Simple non-goggy furnishings, tables and couches here and there, pc stands against the walls and in the centre of the room.

All nice and comfy... until I turned on the pc =.=''

The connection speed was close to zero~there goes my plan to access youtube from the National Library XD. Oh and I think its not allowed there...but anywayz I did manage to type a few words in my previous post before we decided to move on to the other parts of the library.
Note: not all the pcs there are of the same speed, Sabin chose one extraordinarily fast one!! (So we kinda took turns using it lol...)

Yea thats Mei Yen to my left, Sabin opposite me.

Took 3 trains and a cab just to blog!?!?!? Retarded lar... xD

EH????? SO FAMILIAR! (haha Leon...)

With this kinda connection speed, its no wonder you cant find any Youtubers around!
Okay after we started climbing the stairs and exploring the isles, we realised how big the library really was. They've got like... a section for everything imaginable... saw one purely on atlases and maps.. the biggest book there was the size of the hood of your car >
ok so anyway... we had lunch there(horrible and dry), and went to find and borrow some books (which we had to do so from a completely separate building! zzz)

ahhh... snug little corner to read in the borrowing section! LOL!
Oh another thing... after scouring the whole borrowing section for an hour, I realised, they dont have a SINGLE book on guitar music... greeaaat...
And neither did I find Philip Pullman's series His Dark Materials! strange!
Oh oh I did see StarCraft Ghost Nova though. So damn excited when I saw it, then I realised that was the ONLY book from the Blizzard series there on the shelf... such a hot seller!?!?

ZZZ in the end, I didn't borrow anything at all, thought I might not be able to come back here in 3 weeks(deadline for return), which I did later kinda regret :(

Note to Leon: They've got lotsa your kinda books there. ^^ Tempting?

Sigh... and as the long day came to an end... we took a cab,( almost got the cab driver lost), got to Ampang Park station, which was nearest, then back to Sentral, and home..

Well, the end of our library adventure :D

For the first time in history, I feel GREAT being a geek xD!!!

END OF ORIENTATION WEEK!

*PHEW!*
(although that word is not in the dictionary, it pretty much describes how I feel right now)

WHAT A DAY! More freaky ideas via video lectures by Dhyan Vimal the psychotic self proclaimed psychiatrist.

Honestly, we've had enough of him. So all of us are glad that we've finally finished our torture sessions with him(via media player) and his cronnies(same bullshit---just live), but I'll just blog a liiiiil bit on it just to make sure everyone gets their fair share of bullshit (xD).

Today's session was on the topic of "oneness"-meaning being ONE with the the "new reality" you want to put yourself in, in order to achieve it.

And in order to achieve THAT?

* Now this is where it all starts to get confusing. Most of us(my class) took a while to digest the following crap talk, or just pretended to understand it by faking smiles and nodding their heads "puppily". (NEW WORD!)*

Back, in order to achieve "oneness", he/she must practice the following steps-

1.Be "present"-in a state of mind/body-as in getting into a state of hyper awareness/alertness until one is fully aware that one exists on planet Earth as a physical entity with a mind ( but curiously, no emotions, as we will see later). A great way to achieve this is by saying "breeeeatheeeee" and taking a deep breath. It works, but only makes you aware of the BO in the room XD.

2. Use the A-B-C steps.
First, picture youself as the "A" by becoming "present".
Then, picture the problems/issues/subjects/obstacles/things/your beliefs that are hindering you from achieving "oneness"- that you want to change, as the "B".
Next, set a "space" in between "A" and "B". Make that space "C".
Now view the "A-B-C" as a whole. Picture in your mind that you are viewing these 3 things from afar, as an omniscient presence.

3.Done steps 1 and 2? Good.
Now comes the ridiculous part.
Try to solve the problem/issue "B" by "seeing things as they are".
Before I give examples... notice that people usually tend to respond to certain images(graphic or otherwise) instinctively and reactively. For example money="I want!", shit="yuck!", darkness="omg i'm scared", guitar="ROCK AND ROLL!", dead man=*eiiw..*.

According to our "facilitator"-we must avoid this in order to achieve "oneness".

Like for instance, seeing shit=faeces/result of natural bodily process, guitar=6 strings attached to a wood, money=subjective, graphicly squashed up victim of car accident= dead man, dark room=room without light.

So basicly... ignoring our emotions lah? Become robots lah? Retarded facilitator.

and he gave us some really weird examples... "if I cut my hand with a knife, I see that there is a wound, but although we realise that there is pain and blood coming from the wound, we must ignore the pain because we see it as a 'cut'." then he added, "but at the same time, we must be AWARE that the wound is still there."

Gawd... what is wrong with him ><'''

PS: Happy CNY Holidays Peoples!!!!! Muakz!

Am I really that transparent...?

*Nothing about this post should deserve any comment.
That was a post script.

It is as abstract as I'd like a question to be.

Feel the need to meditate on this...

had an interesting experience today.

hmmmmmmmm....

Its been almost 3 years.

"Those who forget the past are bound to repeat it"-Dr.Mahathir.
The problem is, I've been remembering too much... toooooooooo much.

So according to Mahathir, it should be ironicle I'm repeating it.

day 2-4 (Mastering the unmasterable)

Day 2 to 4 pretty much just whizzed by...

Toooooooooooooo much activities for my lazy fingers to blog.
But here are the highlights anywayz!

Our classes with Mr. Kumar ended at noon of the third day, really enjoyed his classes, but it was time for us to start missing him :(

We had no idea how much more so, until we started the 2nd section of our orientation week- Mastery.

Mastery of what?

According to our very offensive lecturer-they call themselves "fascilitators"-more like overseers, (who insult us with premature provokations and statements, and frequent uses of the F word), Mastery of everything.

Some freaky pseudo theological+psychological idea invented by a crackpot Indian guru by the name of Dhyan Vimal.

your classic "Mahaguru" looks...

Drama King...

From what I've gathered in the last 2 days, he's basicly teaching us to be always in a "conscious" state of mind. That is, being aware of EVERYTHING that happens around you, but more importantly, aware of YOU, YOUSELF, exsisting as a human being, in your surroundings.

So in short, focusing on every aspect of oneself, physically, mentally, and emotionally to a point where one is hyper aware of himself/herself.

(Lesson 1) Thus, having accepting that fact, we are supposed to be "responsible" for our own reality.

For example, if you were walking down the street, and some one robs/rapes you. You too, have played a role in being the victim. (according to that psycho.)

Another example, if you park a car nicely, by parking it lawfully and snuggly in a parking lot, and suddenly some one bangs you for no reason, YOU are responsible for that too. (quote by Guru-Kuku:"why the hell did i park my car there?")

Correct me if I'm wrong, I feel he is teaching us to be... feeling guilty all the time?

Ok anyway.

(Lesson 2)You are the "determiner" in your life.

By that he means YOU determine your own reality. It is only so, because you choose it to be so.
You're poor cuz you think you're poor.
You're rich cuz you think you're rich.
You're cold cuz you think you're cold.(stupid air cond)
You think money is hard to earn only because you we're molded to think so.

Alright...After pondering a while. I do agree with him. I understand that these "realities" seem real to you only because you made them so.
BUT only to a certain extent.

How could you determine if you are tall or short or fat or thin or male or female?

This is where it gets all personal. When that maniac started saying :" We are all by our own design..if we are the determiner...we become the Creator!..) something to that effect... I nearly stood up and gave him the Finger. Does he mean to challenge God as the Creator? Does he mean we can become demigods of our own? and God does not play a role in our lives?

Fueled by fire from his previous statements (a.k.a insults), many of my classmates couldn't take it anymore, and started bursting into arguement with the "lecturer". He liked it.

So there was a big hoo-haa about being the "determiner" in life and who should have the right to mold anyone (if at all having the right) thus determining other people's lives?

Hm.. I'm still thinking about that, so, correct me if I said anything wrong in the above statements.

Oh yeah... and there was this "walking in tiny boxes/grids" game thingy. Something to heighten our level of awareness, which I'm fine with. However the tediousness and mundaneness of this "game" practically destroyed its own message.

Thats Fook Hoy in the background with Jian Quan in the green tees..

Shhhh!!! concentrate!!! Breathe!!!

wow my feet are so small even with shoes on!

Even compared to Reva's!

Sigh.... I'm out of words for the day... theres
something wrong with my HTML...duno can upload this or not..hmmm
anywayz, I'm getting a good night's sleep to prep myself for tomorrow.

(pics added today XD)

The Day has ended. THE NIGHT BECKONS.

Thought day 1 ended? yea right... like I'd let ya'll go so easily :D (especially L~!)

Before I begin, I would just like to remind everyone to keep an open mind while reading this post. I dont usually post these kinda topics..but, I dunno why... seem to be compelled to blog this incident before I forget it.

It was 9 p.m ++

Me and my dad where out phone hunting for me.

Went to BTB (Bukit Tinggi Boulavard) opposite Tesco to see if the phone fair was still there.Unfortunately, the fair, ended the day before >< Dissapointed, we made our way to the elevator to get back to the car( parked at basement). This is when things start to get really freaky.

*PING*Elevator opens.

We saw nothing but blackness.
then suddenly the fluorescent lights flickered on, slowly.
Undaunted, we walked in.
Down we went.

Looking around, I saw that the walls of the elevator were just fashioned out of wooden boards, so I pondered on the thought that perhaps the workers didn't have time to complete the finishing touches before this place was open. Just out of curiousity, I decided to test the "thickness/quality" of the wooden elevator.Subconsiously, I gave a small tap on the left wall of the elevator.

*tap tap tap*
THEN THE ELEVATOR TAPPED BACK.
*TAP TAP TAP!!!*
WTF?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!??!!?!?!?!!?!?!?!

It took me a second to digest what just happen. With my knuckle still attatched to the wall of the elevator, I realised that the "tapping" "echo" COULD NOT HAVE COME FROM OUTSIDE.AS I FELT THE VIBRATIONS OF THE "TAPPING" COMING FROM INSIDE THE ELEVATOR. ITS SOURCE WAS BESIDE MY KNUCKLE. Just then, the elevator door opened.Without looking back, I asked my dad, "what the heck was that...?"He shruggedand we walked briskly to the car. Never looking back.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Dont be itchy hand ><

Day one is finally ending... ><

yea... it is...(patience, Leon xD)

Alright at the end of day one, I was already as tired as I am doing this post now =.=.

But anywayz.. this is roughlyhow it ended... I'll make it easy for you guyz to skim through, so:

After the passing tennis balls activity, (Group KTM did it in 2:08 seconds I think) Mr. Kumar dismissed us, we pack, balik kampung~

So Mei Yen, Kelvin,(whom she introduced to me on the way), Sabine(whom she also introduced) and me, took the KTM from KL Sentral back to Teluk Gadung.

Note to self: Monday KTMs are packed to the rim. We were almost like a can of sardines! ><

Well, to wrap it all up, my first day at college was really fun. Especially when you get to meet lotsa new people, such as this cute bunch of friends :)

LUNCH with Yap! (me eat, he watch, LOL)

Part three of day one! ( I will be merciful and spare you the burden of reading this boring post :), go ahead, see next post! )

So after the bridge thingy, me and Fook Hoy decided to go lunch together.

Lepak lepak for 5 mins, found a economy rice shop just round the corner.

Pick food. Sat down.

Makaaaannnn.

Half way through... realised that Fook Hoy didn't only ordered a drink.
He told me that he has heavy breakfast everyday before coming to Brickfields.
(But as we will see...we realised he doesn't eat lunch at all...xD)
(I wonder if he's on diet?)
(But he's fatter than me xD)

Duno why... felt compelled to blog this.

Habis reading? Boring right? TOLD YOU.

Now next...

GOGOGO TEAM KTM!

Okieee... part two of day one!

Where was I..?

OH YEAH! my group's name is KTM! haha! Mostly named after the fact that most of us take the Keretapi Tanah Melayu to Brickfields! ( its more modern than it actually sounds.. xD)

Thus KTM gang was born!

Alright, before I start forgetting names, lemme make a list of the people whom I've come to know in Team KTM:
-Mei Yen(group leader/choleric... xD well get to that later!)
-Roubeeni(tHe RuLeR oF tHe MaRkEr PeN)
-Revathi/"Reva", for short.(assistant of that RuLeR-Indian Time Philosopher)
-Yap Fook Hoi/"Yap", for short.(a.k.a Anti-Lunch)
-Sushendren( I dun nkow hwo two sepell yrou nama, correct me!)(future bridge engineer!)
-Ti'Sean( Ex-pengakap)
-Lisha(hihi...I duno much about you yet ><)
-Ayu(good coordination with me during the softball activity :D)
-Wai Ping(quote" porn is sooooooooo normal")
-*ey got one more Malay girl... whats her name again?><''
-Singh guy... hang on lemme recall ur name...
-oh yeah... one seriously anoying girl-with-cap, lets leave it at that :D

Phew! okay forgive me if I've left anyone out!(?)

After we've settled down and "melted the ice" it was time for some fun :P
Oh did I mention our orientation guide Mr. Kumar is one heck of a whacky lecturer?!
Alright.. I'm bad at describing what he really does/did to us, but he REALLY knows how to get a crowd up and jumping and laughing and giggling and squiggling, and wiggling and he carries a jingle bell and HE KNOWS HOW TO HAVE FUN!

Ofcourse... there are the serious stuff lar... like.. punishments.. if we come late...by 1 minute...

Which is singing or dancing or telling cold jokes!!! xDDDD (as a form of entertainment.. according to Mr. Kumar..lol..)

Fuh... I tell you... our class got some future Malaysian Idols and Last Comics Standing...talented man!

Oh yeah! One of our first activities was to build bridges!

With disposable wooden fruit forks and straws. LOL!

I duno how we did it... but surprisingly, KTM Gang came up with a "floating-multi-purpose-ferry-and-draw-bridge" design. And built it. Just in the nick of time! Thanks to Sushendren's idea of "lets float from Penang to Langkawi"! xD

But over all, really good team effort. Its wonderful when strangers come and put the heads and hands together to achieve a common goal!

Other teams like Cadbury(Kelvin's group) built a flying bridge..to fly away from aliens.. with a 7-11 shop in the center of the highway...CREATIVE!

Theeennn... ouh! Lunch! Next Post!!!!

FIRST DAY AT HOGWA.. I MEAN, BRICKFIELDS!

YAY! COLLEGE LIFE BEGINS!!! :D

Oh no... college life begins =.='''

Sigh... I thought of the latter as I woke up 6 am yesterday morning. Depressing when you gotta wake up so damn early after exhausting yourself the previous night from carrying a mini-pool-table ALL BY YOURSELF(me) up the stairs, into your room.

Bang! The table's in place!

Wait... why am I talking about the table?!

Lol...anyway its a bitter sweet moment when you've finally realised you're no longer an "ex-form5", like no more " I duno what to do next.."/"which college got more hot chicks?!" kinda attitude.

But on the brighter side!

It was really awesome cuz I got to meet a really awesome bunch of friends!

okok it kinda happened like this...

First day at BAC... first step into the "lobby"(if u can call it that)... the receptionist just popped out of nowhere and...

"Hi are you a newbie?(yeah he actually used the word xD)"

"urhh... yeah.."

"ok go third floor, class 3D (lol my form 3 class!?)"

So up up up I went, (note, stairs at BAC are good excersise according to Kelvin!) and found my way into a class with very smiley :D-but yes-just as confused as I am-looking people.
Then Mr. Kumar, our orientation lecturer/guide/sensei~ asked me to sit down and join one the groups.

This is where things start to get "interesting" (to my standards)xD

As soon as I sat down I was warmly greeted by a girl named Mei Yen ( I think? correct my spelling!)~ who turned out to be our future group leader. Yea.. so we talked, exchanged names, putting on a show infront of total strangers,etcetc... basicly.. icebreaking.. lol...

(ouh ok i gtg... update later... dun hack in and delete stuff now, whoever u are..=.='')
(YERRRR!! ARGH! U GUYZ FOUND ME OUT BEFORE I FINISHED MY POST!GRRRRRR...xD bah well :P)

Lazy write here d... lolx..NEW POST!

OMGOMGOMG!!!! I started a new blog =.='''

W.T.HeCk?!

Just when I thought I've escaped the world of bloggism ( new word...?lol?) I decide to commit myself to hours and hours pouring nonsensical-grandma/grandpa/ah ma/ah gong/ nenek moyang stories bla bla bla AGAIN!

I must be mad...

Too free..?

Nope. Probably mad.

Retarded kua...xD

OKOK enough of this whimsickle blabbering. Already ruined the blog with my first retarded post!

Gadies and Lentle men! I hope ya'll enjoyed my first post as much as I didn't! :P
BUT GET READY FOR MORE NONSENSE!

Brb after the break xD!

*Ps: ouh... yea...I blame Leon for temping me to revive my bloggism habits again. (lolx...arse! :D)
